Traditional Mexican Rice Pudding is sweetened with condensed milk, which balances the flavors and adds to an even creamier consistency.

Raisins, although optional, are a common addition to Mexican Rice Pudding, adding a burst of sweetness and texture to each bite. They can be soaked in warm water or rum before adding to the pudding for a plump and flavorful result.
