- 1 cup whole milk
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla or vanilla bean paste
- 1 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1.5 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup finely chopped dark chocolate
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together milk and sugar until fully dissolved. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Churn in ice cream maker according to the instructions of your ice cream maker.
